Misty Stephens

Misty has been a Registered Nurse since 2005, starting in surgical services and trauma care, and moving into Enterostomal Therapy in 2012. She is the Chair of the Regional Skin & Wound Community of Practice and a member of the Provincial Skin & Wound, Ostomy, and Therapeutic Surface Committees. Misty co-developed the Acute Care Adult Protocol for Continence Management.

Misty has established and opened two hospital ostomy outpatient clinics in Fraser Health. She received the Fraser Health Hero Award in 2016, and the BC Health Services Award in 2017.

Ostomy Care and Supply is delighted that Misty joined our team in 2017 and that she brings her breadth of knowledge and experience to both our nursing team and our patients/clients.
