Transitioning home

Coming home after ostomy surgery can be a very overwhelming time. The nurses at the Ostomy Care and Supply Centre are clinical specialists who can help.

Our holistic approach

In a relaxed, supportive environment, we go at your pace to help you learn how to take care of your ostomy. After surgery you have many concerns and are sometimes feeling weak. We are aware of that and give you the help you need as you regain your strength. We also monitor your levels of pain, hydration, nutrition and signs of infection, and work with your homecare nurses and the other members of your health care team.

Our philosophy of care

We believe in keeping it simple. We review what ostomy products you really need to be independent with your ostomy, have no leakage or odor and have reliable wear time. We carry all brands of ostomy pouching systems and accessories. We work with you to find the best ostomy system for you.

Our team

Our team of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) has been helping patients for over 30 years with the transition from hospital to home to live normal and healthy lives with an ostomy. Hear what some of our patients say about visiting our clinic.
